Eurocraft, Inc. is seeking a experienced Furniture Finisher to join our team on the Northwest of Chicago. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience. The Furniture Finisher is expected to prepare pieces for staining and finishing by sanding and repairing them as needed. The finisher should be able to mix custom stain colors and apply them. A finisher should know the process of finishing furniture and know which products to use to achieve the desired finish. A finisher will be capable of spraying lacquer, sealer and paints. Attention to detail is key in this role! Primary Responsibilities: Sanding and filling in furniture Stripping pieces for refinishing Cleaning work areas Spraying finishes Secondary Responsibilities: Assist in loading/unloading the vans Assist with unloading materials when they are delivered Maintaining equipment as needed Attending installation appointments as needed Moving pieces within the shop Assisting other coworkers as needed The hours for this role are 6:30 am to 3:00 pm. Overtime is often available. The ideal candidate will be reliable and self-motivated.
