Responsibilities: Sorts and processes outgoing mail; effectively process a high volume of incoming and outgoing US and other priority mail. Operates postage machine according to policy and regulations. Prepares for mailing Certified, Registered, Insured articles, special mails. Sorts and distributes U.S. Mail and accountable mail (FedEx, DHL, Hand deliveries, etc.). Maintains files, logs and records on all incoming mail. Communicate on a timely basis with clients and managers on job or deadline issues. Uses equipment and supplies in a cost-efficient manner. Operates and maintains full range of mailroom equipment. Troubleshoot basic equipment problems; coordinates and follows up on maintenance and service calls. Utilizes software mail applications where applicable. Answers telephone in accordance with requirements. Adheres to TMG policies in addition to client site policies. Provides follow-up communication on deliveries attempted after normal business hours. Delivers special and rush packages. Completes all outbound mail processing by external carrier pickup times. Picks up and delivers packages and documents to clients according to predetermined schedules. Work may require use of dollies or mail carts and package sizes may vary from envelopes to boxes of various sizes and weight. Prioritizes deliveries based on due times. Provides regular updates on personnel changes on floor. Check all out boxes on final mail sweep of the night. Provide front desk receptionist duties. Operate a company vehicle to make deliveries, and pick ups. Receive directions and coordinate task completion from vendors. Operate copiers and printing equipment, used for completing client duplication/printing request. Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent (GED). Minimum of 2-5 years Mail/Print services related experience preferred with knowledge of commonly used Office Services procedures. 1-3 years' experience with Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel, etc.). Excellent customer service skills; must possess a "can do" attitude. Excellent communication skills both verbal and written. Valid Driver's License. Ability to effectively work individually or in a team environment. Competency in performing multiple functional tasks. Attention to detail. Ability to handle mail or hand cart, as well as flatbed.
