At just over 55 employees, we are headquartered in Indianapolis, IN with additional offices in South Bend and Evansville. Aside from offering medical education and instructional courses at our state-of-the-art training facility, we are committed to representing and promoting the Arthrex brand through collaborative relationships with our Surgeons and Sales Representatives. About The Role Based out of our brand-new Indianapolis HQ, our Staff Accountant will support full cycle accounting for the company. They will have the opportunity to provide significant input as we build processes and efficiencies, preparing us for our next phase of scale. This role is brand new to Crossroads, and reports to our Vice President, Human Resources & Finance. A Message from The Hiring Manager Hey there! We are a small administrative team looking for our first "sole finance hire" for the organization. This person should be comfortable in an ever changing start-up environment, as we're in the build out phase of all business functions. I'm looking for a go-getter that wants to grow in their financial career with the organization. This person will be stationed at the Reference Desk (right when you walk in) at our brand-new beautiful company HQ, and the first face our team and surgeons see when they walk in the front door. We're experiencing an incredible phase of growth and look forward to connecting with those that want to join in on the fun. Our Staff Accountant Is Responsible for... Daily maintenance of Crossroads expense & travel management platform, Navan (formerly TripActions). Daily reconciliation of all business transactions through QuickBooks Online. You will assist with the building out of this platform. Researching and resolving expense variances/discrepancies. Paying Agency bills amongst Indianapolis Headquarters and our Evansville and South Bend offices. Working with VP, Human Resources & Finance to create and maintain Annual Budgets and company finance policies. Monitoring Crossroads Orthopedics checking and savings accounts. Working with Office & Culture Manager as it relates to travel expenses. Working with External Accounting firm, Teipen CPA Group for all month and year end business needs. Supporting various payroll functions if ever needed (highly unlikely). Welcoming office guests as they walk in for labs and/or meetings. Create and prepare expense reports, and monthly earning statements for the Leadership Team. Assisting the Administrative Team with any other duties as assigned. What Does It Take Basic Accounting Knowledge At least 1-2 years of QuickBooks Online Experience (non-negotiable) Proficient in Microsoft Office suite Strong attention to detail, accuracy, analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong ability to follow up in a timely manner. Ability to maintain the privacy and confidentiality of information; protecting the assets of the organization; acting with ethics and integrity; reporting non-compliance; and adhering to applicable federal, state & local laws and regulations, accreditation & licenser requirements.
