I. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES The Educator Certification Online System (ECOS) supports and facilitates the certification of Texas educators. This position will work with the ECOS development manager to provide the following Software Development Services:1) Design complex modules for ECOS and its Accountability System for Ed Prep Programs (ASEP) .Net subsystem2) Development of software modifications and enhancements including automated unit test cases.3) Research existing infrastructure and recommend possible architecture improvements.4) Develop action plan to migrate remaining outdated code from Classic ASP to .Net and .Net Core. II. CANDIDATE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Requirements: Candidates that do not meet or exceed the minimum stated requirements (skills/experience) will be displayed to customers but may not be chosen for this opportunity. Years Required/Preferred Experience 8 Required SQL Server 2016 8 Required Microsoft .Net and .Net Core 5 Required Design and write code as required for selected customer systems 5 Required Analyze technical requirements and develop effective technical solutions 1 Required Accountability Application 1 Required Licensing Application 1 Preferred Teacher licensing Application
