Professional Land Surveyor - Project Surveyor EFK Moen, LLC, a civil engineering design consulting firm, is currently seeking a Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) licensed in Missouri and/or Illinois, for a full-time position. This individual will interface with field staff, managers, engineers, and external clients to support surveying efforts of all types, and the daily operation within the Survey Department. EFK Moen, LLC, offers a locally competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package. Job location will be in our St. Louis County Office. Duties & Responsibilities Responsible for managing projects to make certain they are completed on time & within budget Prepare project budgets, proposals, and technical reports Provide coordination and expertise related to the work of field survey crews and office staff Review and certify completed survey work Prepare accurate computer drafted surveys, plats, topographic surveys, engineering surveys Research and prepare land descriptions and maps in accordance with applicable standards Qualifications/Skills Bachelor of Science in Surveying Engineering, Land Surveying, or Construction Management with Land Survey Specialization or comparable; and/or Certified as a Professional Land Surveyor in Missouri and/or Illinois 3 years of experience in land surveying Project management experience preferred Proficient in AutoCAD and/or MicroStation Capability to perform mathematical computations/calculations Ability to review plats, maps, reports, descriptions, surveys, digital map models, etc. Competence to understand and interpret plans, and resolve boundary surveys High level of personal integrity, ethics, and professionalism Excellent communication and people management skills Capacity to develop and maintain effective working relationships with leadership and coworkers Must be authorized to work in the United States EFK Moen, LLC offers its full-time employees: Paid Time Off (PTO) Paid Company Holidays Paid Parental Leave Health, Dental and Vision Insurance 401(k) with No-Match Company Contribution Short and Long-Term disability coverage Term Life Insurance Professional License exam fee reimbursement Bonus Opportunities Support of professional organization membership and activities Work-life balance through a flexible, casual work environment A culture of mentoring and teamwork EFK Moen is an Equal Opportunity Employer and Drug Free Workplace.
