Orthopedic Center of Illinois has an exciting opportunity for a LPN Surgery Scheduling Coordinator to join our Team! The Surgery Scheduling Coordinator is responsible for scheduling surgeries for assigned surgeons. Responsibilities include obtaining authorization, coordinating surgical procedures with multiple hospitals and surgery center, writing and communicating surgery orders, and collecting necessary documentation for surgeries. This individual works with physicians, staff, and the surgery location to providing accurate, timely, and responsive case updates in regards to surgical scheduling. This position is Monday-Friday with no weekends or holidays. Full benefits package offered. E DUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Current unrestricted LPN license 3+ years of recent clinical experience Orthopedic experience preferred Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills Strong problem-solving skills with a flexible and creative approach Ability to work independently Excellent oral and written communication skills
