The Junior Mortgage Loan Officer contributes to the success of the Mortgage Loan Officer team by meeting standards of excellence in project management and marketing as well as providing analytical and administrative support. Take ownership of the mortgage loan process from application to funding, acting as project manager with minimal supervision. Work closely in-branch with assigned Mortgage Loan Officers compiling loan applications to ensure credit union and secondary market standards are being met and communicate recommendations if standards are not being met. Interact professionally with internal members, originators, processors, underwriters, real estate agents and outside organizations to obtain necessary documentation. Interact with members, mortgage loan officers, processors, underwriters, closers, title agents and real estate professionals in a collaborative and professional manner. They also do so much more! The base salary + commission pay structure offers flexibility based on your needs, with a base range from $32,739 - $50,000 + commission, paid monthly. While you build your portfolio, you will receive a guaranteed salary for the first 4 months. We have great benefits including employer paid medical, dental and vision and a contribution amount for dependents, wellness rewards of up to $300, 401(k) match, retirement pension, paid Holidays, vacation and sick time and tuition reimbursement. Plus, all employees are encouraged to volunteer for worthy causes within the local community. Whether it's at the local Humane Society, Food Bank, schools or many other events, we provide 20 hours of paid time per year to make this happen.
