Stark Compression is seeking an ambitious AR/AP Specialist to join our team. If you have the ability to process AP/AR transactions and other general accounting tasks with accuracy and efficiency we want to talk to you! How are you successful in this role? We are looking for a skilled candidate that can perform tasks associated with AP including managing all job related projects and nonjob related vendors by way of receiving and processing bills and facilitating vendor payments through our accounting software system. Have the ability to monitor bank activity including ACH/EFT payments/deposits, cleared checks and credit card deposits. Assist with maintaining the general ledger. This role will be responsible for the collections of outstanding AR from the existing customer base relating to projects and contracts, and keeping accurate records and reporting on collection activity. Prepare customer freight invoices when necessary. Complete month end processing for AP/AR transactions, and work with management, external auditors and government officials as needed. What are we looking for? High School Diploma required At least two (2) years experience with Accounts Payable and/or Accounts Receivable required Sound understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounts payable principles required What we would love to see? Associates Degree Experience with large ERP systems Knowledgeable in Federal and state income tax withholding and 3rd party payment reporting requirements Who are we?
