Position Summary Coordinates activities of work crew engaged in the installation, maintenance and repair of a variety of piping and equipment. Installs, maintains and repairs of a variety of piping and equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, and other drawings in industrial establishment, using hoists, lift trucks, hand-tools, and power tools: Reads blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures. Hiring Requirements/Preferences High school diploma or equivalent and additional specialized training equal to a master craft designation. Minimum 5 years' experience in underground construction trades. Working foreman should be able to work within precise limits of standards of accuracy and make decisions based on measurable criteria. Completion of company training programs and appropriate experience required Possess the leadership ability necessary to lead, motivate and direct the work of subordinates. DOT licenses required. OSHA 10 Construction Certification, or ability to obtain during pre-employment (company provided online training) . Physically, working foreman must be able to work easily and skillfully with hands, lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds, have good vision either naturally or with correction) and stand, stoop, kneel or crouch.
