Stark Tech is seeking a Staff Accountant to join our growing team. If you have the desire to be an integral key member of the accounting team by helping to drive timely and accurately financial reporting we want to talk to you! How are you successful in this role? An ideal candidate must have the ability to exhibit confidentiality, have strong analytical skills, experience with Microsoft Excel, have excellent communication skills, and be able to work proactively and independently in a fast-paced office environment. This role will be responsible for supporting the Operations Controller with preparing financial reports, completes journal entries, budgets financial analysis and cost reporting. You should be able to maintain account balances by inputting data. Be able to prepare payments by accruing expenses; assigning account numbers; requesting disbursements; reconciling accounts. Have the knowledge to analyze current procedures, recommend changes, and answer accounting/financial questions by researching and interpreting data. What are we looking for? Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance required Minimum two (2) years experience in accounting or related field required Strong mathematical and analytical skills required Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel required Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously Ability to read and analyze financial reports required What we would love to see?
