Payroll Services Representative - Blackfoot, ID Are you detail-oriented and team-focused? If so, this opportunity may be right for you! The Payroll Services Representative is responsible for the timely and accurate processing of bi-weekly hourly payroll in accordance with company policies, procedures, and union contracts. S/he reconciles payroll with all changes and deductions, and responds to and resolves employee questions and payroll issues. S/he may work on other projects and assist with general and month-end accounting processes when needed. Essential Job Duties of a Payroll Services Representative: Performing all tasks required to process payroll in a timely and accurate manner and in accordance with policies and procedures. Completing workflows for new hires, terminations, promotions/demotions, payroll deductions, and other employee changes. Generating weekly temporary labor reports from ADP to send to agencies. Receiving and reviewing invoices from the temp agencies. Sending invoices with GL coding to accounts payable for processing. Calculating monthly pension liability and submit requests for payment in a timely and accurate manner and in accordance with company and pension plan policies and procedures. Reviewing employee deductions for union dues; preparing & submitting monthly payment requests to accounts payable for payment processing. Calculating and preparing accrual for employee and temp labor at month-end. Serving as a payroll backup to other facilities. We're Looking for Someone With: Associates degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school and 3-5 years of relevant experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to process data, numbers, and calculations, such as reviewing time cards, computing wages, reconciling payroll, entering payroll deductions, calculating overtime, and other types of pay with accuracy and compliance. Intermediate knowledge of accounting software, payroll systems, MS Excel, and MS Word. Ability to maintain the highest standards of accuracy, precision, discretion, and confidentiality. Ability to read and interpret policies and procedure manuals. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in a standardized situation. Who We Are What makes an amazing meal so great?
