GMB is hiring a Digital Knowledge Manager to join our team of teams! This role is responsible for linking our teammates to internal knowledge to support their work and development; and connecting our teams' work and knowledge to external audiences. We are looking for a candidate who can manage digital assets across technology platforms and teams. The ideal candidate brings a balance of a focus on data and details with a knack for sniffing out stories behind the information. This role will be part of both the Marketing and Knowledge Management teams. Why work for us? Will you join us? What you will get to do: Maintain data about projects and people Document our teams' successes by tracking down and managing data about projects in our CRM. Maintain the image library in our Digital Asset Manager and proactively find and catalog new project assets. Keep our people connected to knowledge about both themselves and their teammates through our skills database. Support our robust intranet Keep our intranet as a source of culture and knowledge by paying close attention to all the details and facets that comprise the tool. Support our teammates as they document their knowledge. Monitor analytics and make adjustments to make sure teammates are finding what they need. Monitor & maintain our external channels Liaise with marketing team to keep our website up to date with our latest projects and insights. Develop a calendar and cadence of posting to social media channels and client community that aligns with marketing goals. Manage posting across external channels including managing creation of supporting imagery and graphics as needed. Manage connections with external vendors Keep up with software product updates, bring forward team feature requests, and communicate back to appropriate teams . What type of knowledge do I need to succeed in this role? More than a specific degree and exact number of years of experience, we're most excited about what kind of knowledge you bring. For this role, we are seeking someone with developing professional expertise, who is able to apply guidelines and procedures to resolve a variety of issues without much day-to-day support or instruction. Some components that may help indicate you are at this knowledge milestone include more tangible items like: 3-7 years of experience. Basic knowledge of web design and management, and experience with a range of web-based platforms. Experience with social media platform tools and management. Experience with InDesign in proficiency in Microsoft suite. A passion for data and details but a penchant for storytelling. Creative problem-solving, solid communication skills, organizational/project management skills. What might set you apart from other candidates? Bachelor's degree in marketing , Communications, Management, Information Systems, or related. K nowledge of Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator . Experience managing a CRM .
