The Position: Serves as Logistics Management Specialist with Duties as a Regional Manager with specific responsibilities for the management and oversight of the Lakota Supply and Distribution program to include coordination and interface with National Guard Bureau and US Army TDA sites and/or other users internal and external to the command within the Light Helicopter Product Office. The Description: Perform Regional Manager Duties for multiple National Guard sites. Assures that critical actions are integrated and properly executed to provide a cohesive approach to logistics support requirements. Assigned specific sites to track operational readiness and sustainment issues. Monitor and track maintenance and flight hours, within the Lakota Maintenance Management System (LMMS) and Aircraft Notebook (ACN) and provide oversight for the Fleet Manager. Responsible for resolving product or service problems by clarifying the requirements. Receives incident reports from unit technical monitors, determines causality, and coordinates repair processes. Provide all UH-72A units with updated information about RDAS and Service Bulletins requirements as information becomes available. Plans, directs, and coordinates, markets and reviews assigned areas of the logistics program which encompass the operations and activities related to the logistics support to the Program Office. Process all Common Access Cards (CAC) applications for Airbus and Advanced Helicopter Services personnel in support of the UH-72 LHPO. Provide OEM CFT Support when needed. Load out coordination, aircraft transfers, GFE support with LOG, Newsletter articles, tool support, HAZMAT support and issues, TBO component support and tracking, consignment support, VMI support, exclusions plus over and above support, modification support, and cancellations tracking. Provide attentive, professional and impeccable aviation logistic services to all customers; building a reputation of responsiveness and integrity, while equipping units with the necessary tools and training to complete missions. The successful candidate will have the education and experience below: Aviation aircraft/major weapon system maintenance, recognition, and readiness Acquisition and/or sustainment logistics Manage and operate LPM and applicable automated databases Review/analyze technical data received from vendors/OEM EC145 Maintainer Course Turbomeca Arriel 1 E2 Maintainer Course Experience with Aircraft Notebook (ACN) Airframe and Power Plant Certificate Bachelor's degree and 8 years of related experience OR High school diploma and 11 years of related experience An Active DoD Secret clearance is required The Working Environment: The physical environment requires the employee to work on-site at the government program office, sitting in a cubicle or at a desk, looking at a computer for most of the workday. The employee may be required to walk short distances to offices/conference rooms and buildings on site. On some occasions, the employee may be required to drive to offices or buildings near the work site. In rare occasions, travel may be required.
