We are looking for a dynamic candidate that loves camp! Camp Pennyroyal is a traditional overnight summer camp owned and operated by the Girl Scouts of Kentuckiana. Pennyroyal is 180-acres with its own 8-acre spring feed lake, high ropes course and plenty of hiking trails to explore. Our program typically hosts Girl Scouts grades K-12 with up to 90 campers, staff and adult volunteers . All waterfront staff will attend boating training 5/26-5/28. All staff are required to attend staff training 5/30-6/9. We are seeking an enthusiastic Waterfront Coordinator to provide the ultimate summer camp experience for our campers by delivering daily programming in the areas of swimming, paddling, outdoor skills, and more. The Waterfront Coordinator will work with the Waterfront Director to teach swimming and paddling skills to campers during specified times. They will also work on teams of 2-3 counselors and unit leaders to oversee a unit typically comprised of 4-24 girls which includes sleeping in unit, helping cover breaks and assisting with unit programing as needed. The ideal candidate will be genuinely invested in the development of our campers and how we can best empower them.
