Questions before applying? 785-966-XXXX SUMMARY: The Nursing Assistant - Home Health Aide provides direct patient care to patients in the home setting who require assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping duties, and meal preparation. The Home Health Aide will function as a member of the care team under the supervision of the Community Health Nurse or Nursing Supervisor. The Nursing Assistant - Home Health Aide is accountable for adhering to the standards of care, standards of practice and in maintaining competencies with their role and responsibility while adhering to Prairie Band Potawatomi Health Center policies and procedures. To qualify for this position, applicants must meet all minimum requirements by the closing date of this announcement. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Must possess education one year above high school with courses related to the Nursing Assistant or Home Health occupation. Completion of an intensive, specialized, occupation related course of study of less than one year may also meet the requirements. This could include military service such as hospital corpsman assignment, on-the-job training with a home health or assisted living agency, or other similar experience. Must have a valid Kansas driver's license and be insurable with the Nation's insurance Must have a current BCLS certification. Must have working knowledge of Electronic Health Records (EHR).
