SUMMARY As a Human Capital Management (HCM) Technical Integrations Specialist you will manage a variety of technical duties related to the configuration and development of custom ah-hoc reports and data imports, exports, APIs, and EDIs. You will also test, maintain and analyze data, reports, scorecards and dashboards to ensure they meet critical needs for clients and internal management. You will be a subject matter expert and will support Mercantile's HCM customers, particularly during new client migrations. JOB DUITIES You will have a lead role in product personalization, data integration, data conversion and report development. Develop and maintain a variety of HCM reports or queries using appropriate reporting tools. Analyze and assesses end-user data needs as scope for actionable activities. Create custom reports and data extracts for business clients, software solutions, and other needs as requested. Fully automate and create data integrations; maintain API, EDI, and import/export technology. Manage and operate the HCM secure file transfer (SFTP) solution and related report libraries. Oversee and operate custom data curation processes for ad hoc report needs. Build imports and data migrations from the client's legacy environment to assist in data conversion during implementation. Gather requirements, interpret functional specs, develop and test custom objects including workflows, reports, enhancements and interfaces. Perform focused data mining activities for business objectives upon request by business clients. Utilize various data extraction, validation, error detection, data reporting and related analysis tools as required. Maintain procedures related to various data, database and reporting functions. You will monitor, optimize and resolve issues for new and existing reports and integrations. Serve as a system and data liaison with core HCM technology platform, third parties, and other stakeholders both within and outside of the company. Serve as a time clock hardware technical support specialist. Lead the buildout of HCM data dashboards and work with Data Analytics team to maintain the HCM Power BI portal and the reports, dashboards and scorecards it contains. Partner with the internal Systems Support team to manage the internal and external data exchange and file transfer architecture for HCM. Your opinion matters. We appreciate your recommendations for data automation solutions and analytics. Contribute to projects as assigned and provides overall guidance and support for initiatives and special projects that include data and/or HR system components. Utilize interpersonal and communication skills to train, instruct, and educate others on data availability, accessibility and interpretation. Communicate complex technical concepts with HR practitioners and leadership. Design and complete projects from strategy through to implementation/support Utilize business intelligence and analytics tools to create and visualize information (i.e. using Monarch, Power BI, and Excel or other visualization tool(s)). QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's Degree in related field or achievement of formal certifications recognized in the industry as equivalent to a bachelor's degree. A minimum of 3 years' experience with Human Capital Management or Human Resources Information Systems, data management, data analysis and team leadership experience. Experience with writing data visualization in Tableau, Power BI, or similar visualization software. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft office with an emphasis on Excel and Access. Conceptual knowledge of relational databases, data modeling, data analysis techniques, and ETL processes/procedures strongly preferred.
