We take a comprehensive look at our client's energy usage to identify savings and renewable solution opportunities. We manage the entire process from concept through engineering through installation and provide ongoing O&M support. Summary of the Sales Engineer Intern: The Sales Engineer Intern will be responsible for executing sales support projects and strategically developing targets. With assistance, he or she will perform outreach to target clients and qualifying leads. He or she will also gain exposure to managing relationships for qualified leads and customers. The role will report into the Sales Director in the Indianapolis, IN headquarters. The intern exposure will also include business development and operations tasks on a case by case basis. During the internship he or she will learn to communicate the potential for utility spend savings and develop an understanding of energy solutions. General Duties: Facilitate, develop and complete projects core to PSG sales strategy initiatives Develop plans and strategies for target and lead generations within PSG target market sectors Manage customer expectations and contribute to a high level of customer satisfaction Comfort with outreach via calling and emailing potential clients. Will gain exposure to presenting to clients and representing PSG Energy Group as an energy partner / renewable solutions provider With guidance, qualify leads and execute outreach strategies Knowledge, Education and Experience: Enrolled in a Bachelor of Science Degree Program and maintain a minimum college GPA requirement of 2.90 on a 4.00 scale; cumulative, no rounding Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, a plus Ability to establish and manage relationships within and outside of an organization Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to prioritize work and balance multiple projects Excellent decision quality and command skills Passion for Renewable Energy and Sustainability Other Requirements: Could require travel to project locations Observe all company procedures and safety rules Work as part of our team to ensure customer satisfaction This job description shall remain fluid and will be reviewed on an as needed basis .
