We are currently seeking an Oil & Gas Project Manager to join our Civil - Geo/Environmental service line working within our Energy Market Sector. The position is located in our new office space within Ayrsley Town Center ( www.ayrsley.com ) in Charlotte, North Carolina. Learn more about us in this video: https://bit.ly/3Jp3Dez and visit our website: https://www.smeinc.com/ Job Snapshot: Design of distribution and transmission pipelines for projects primarily throughout the southeast Preparation of plan/construction drawings and details Problem solving and critical thinking to route pipelines through different terrain and underground obstacles Determining permit requirements and coordinating those efforts with local, State and Federal agencies as well as the client and our project team Lead a project team who focuses on successfully preparing environmental and non-environmental permitting such as Erosion & Sedimentation Control Plans, Floodplain Permits, Post-Construction Storm Water Permits, Section 404/401 Permits, DOT Encroachments, Utility Encroachments, Railroad Encroachment Permits, Conditional Use Permits, etc. Lead and work with a multi-disciplinary team in order to execute complex projects. Increase business by improving client relationships and strengthening existing business relationships Coordination and completion of proposals, projects, reporting, and budgets concentrating on staffing projects with the appropriate technical staff 10-20% travel to job sites as needed Required Qualifications: BS Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering 6+ years' experience in related field, with 1+ year of experience in oil and gas industry 2+ years of project management experience Strong understanding of natural gas distribution and transmission systems Experience managing multi-disciplined teams on turnkey pipeline projects Experience with environmental and non-environmental permitting and design as outlined above Preferred Qualifications: Professional Engineers license in North Carolina Pipeline design skills AutoCAD experience Why work at S&ME?
