Are you passionate about supporting people with intellectual, developmental, and other disabilities? AUCD, a national nonprofit organization supporting the disability community, is seeking a highly motivated, accomplished, organized, and goal-oriented Program Manager to support the Public Health Team and Act-Early/COVID-19. The Program Manager provides supervision of human services, project management or provision of technical assistance in support of the Act Early Initiative of AUCD's public health portfolio. OVERVIEW OF RESPONSIBILITIES Lead and manage all Act Early Initiatives for Public Health Team, and related early childhood efforts such as the Positive Parenting Project, and contractual obligations of AUCD's ECPC subaward with UConn, to include service as a budget manager. Lead development, delivery, and evaluation of training and TA provided to Act Early Network, Act Early State/Territorial Teams, Act Early Ambassadors. Manage data collection and project evaluation activities, including reviewing and monitoring project evaluation data and leading continuous quality improvement. Ensure quality, efficacy, and continuity of all TA activities provided under these projects. Participate in related strategic planning, budgeting, collaborations. Serve as primary staff contact for responding to all requests from CDC, HRSA, other federal and partner agencies on all AUCD Act Early initiatives. Designated team lead for expansion of the Act Early Network through an expansion of the Act Early Ambassador program and the Act Early State & Territorial teams overseeing $4.5M+ in subaward to the AUCD network and close public health partners. Overseeing application and award process for state/territorial teams. Overseeing application and award process for expansion of the Act Early Ambassador program. Document all major deliverables (and the timing of each) to provide to state/territorial teams upon award. Document AUCD outcomes for the team at NCBDDD/CDC including all major deliverables and the timing of each. Set agendas for and lead our weekly check-ins for all Act Early initiatives with the Learn the Signs. Act Early. Project Officers at NCBDDD/CDC. Supervise Program Specialist support for the Act Early Ambassador program. Supervise Program Specialist support of the Act Early/COVID-19 State/Territorial Teams. Oversee production of quarterly webinar series and quarterly newsletter. Onboard, monitor, and provide guidance to the Program Evaluator, NCBDDD/CDC Fellow, Program Specialist on the Act Early/COVID-19 State/Territorial Teams. Oversee work of a social media consultant to develop and disseminate messages on developmental monitoring for parents of young children to carry out state-based and territory-based message placement to support the resilience and capacity of public health systems that serve young children. Lead cross AUCD-NCBDDD/CDC Act Early/COVID-19 State/Territorial Teams project team meetings. Oversee coordination of bi-weekly virtual check in meetings with the COVID-Team leads to rapidly exchange lessons learned. Facilitate connections with LENDs and UCEDDs and respective technical assistance staff on any team technical assistance needs as they arise. Develop progress reports and project documentation. Engage with key partners of LTSAE activities including. Represent the AUCD network and our cooperative agreement at meetings and conferences, including AMCHP quarterly coordination calls; Branch check-ins with CDC/NCBDDD Engage UCEDD, LEND or other health and disability programs in the Act Early Initiative. POSITION REQUIREMENTS Education: You will be qualified for this position if you have a master's degree in a social science, education, administration, public health, policy, or other relevant field (or equivalent experience) OR two (2) years of equivalent professional experience. Experience: You will be qualified for this position if you have three (3) years of professional leadership experience in human services, project management or provision of technical assistance. MPH, MS or MA in public health, disability, clinical or human services related field preferred. Supervisory: Directly and indirectly supervises six (6) full-time, temporary, Act-Early/COVID-19 funded positions. Assigns, supervises, coordinates, and reviews the work of assigned staff. This position is 100% remote. SALARY RANGE The salary range for this position is $55,000 to $65,000. This position is funded by a federal contract and cooperative agreement and will be contingent upon continued funding.
