Description:
Principal Duties: Reviews documents and requirements for bidding. Provide input on material and labor requirements for bid. May be required to put together a bid.Manage and coordinate execution of projects.Reviews contract documents and requirements and coordinates project.Prepares and updates project schedules for contractors and/or subcontractors. Maintains database of active projects.Responsible for pre-job conferences and attends all required project meetings.Handles project correspondence, including but not limited to, schedules, RFI, proposals and daily reports.Confirms material and equipment requirements with Supervisor. Coordinates submittals of material specifications with internal contact as needed.Ensures availability of equipment and materials. Orders material, schedules delivery to meet project requirements, and coordinates the maintenance and repair of equipment with Fleet Maintenance department.Conducts final project audit and reviews project procedures to ensure continued improvement.Responsible for customer relations for projects.Responsible for estimating change orders.Responsible for time sheets, travel, and clerical work for projectsAssist in manufacturing SS-1h Emulsion.Notify Manager of maintenance and repair needs on Emulsion PlantUphold QC and safety measures during manufacturing of EmulsionMaintains a clean and safe environment for all workers Principal Requirements: Physical Demands: Must be able to bend, crawl, stand, eye-hand coordination, walk, drive and lift up to 25 lbs. Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree within the field of Engineering preferred Must have a minimum of 1 year construction industry project assistant experience. Computer Skills: Proficiency with Word, Excel, Access, Outlook Math : Proficiency in mathematics to perform daily tasks. Reading: Excellent skills to read and understand job specifications and technical information. Ability to read blueprints. Licenses : Valid driver's license and favorable traffic abstract required
