*This is an itinerant position currently providing services in Erie County.Position Overview:Northwest Tri-County Intermediate Unit (IU5) is seeking applicants for a part-time, Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the Tri County region beginning with the 2022-2023 school year. The goal of an SLP is to provide remedial services to students with speech, language, voice, fluency, or hearing disorders with the outcome of improving expressive/receptive communication and attain the necessary speech and language skills.Required Qualifications:- PA Educational Specialist Certificate School Speech and Language Pathologist PK-12 - PA State Licensure in Speech Language Pathology or ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC's) or Eligible for Clinical Fellowship Year Essential Functions:- Meet and instruct assigned classes in the locations and at the times designated.- Plan a program of study that meets the individual needs, interests, and abilities of the students.- Create a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interests of the students.- Prepare for classes assigned and show written evidence of preparation upon request of immediate superior.- Assess the accomplishments of students on a regular basis and provide progress reports as required.Pay/PTO:- Bachelor's: $41.39/hourly or Master's $43.94/hourly- PTO: 10 sick days, 1 personal day, 1 emergency day( will be pro-rated based on start date in school year) Job Posted by ApplicantPro
