POSITION SUMMARY Help promote Loras College's 24 NCAA Division III intercollegiate Athletic programs through Athletic Communications Office. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Reasonable Accommodations Statement To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Duties and Responsibilities included but not limited to: Primary contact for assigned sports which includes statistical record keeping, press releases, website management and assisting with day-to-day operations, primarily writing stories/previews. Assist with game day operations (statcrew/NCAA live states/social/highlights/stories) Assist in department's graphic design needs, including recruiting material, game programs, tickets, media guides, game notes, posters, infographics, and social media graphics. Attend weekly event management meetings. Design and produce game programs, media guides and record books. Update, maintain, and create various materials for social media outlets, including Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. Maintain a high level of technical expertise and stays on top of current and developing trends in graphic design. Additional duties as assigned. Working Under Pressure - Ability to complete assigned tasks under stressful situations. Education: Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or university in any field required. Master's Degree preferred. Experience: Two to four years of related experience. Strong organizational and time management skills. Possess a high level of initiative, creativity, and passion. Exceptional verbal and written communication skill. Ability to multi-task. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, primarily Photoshop, InDesign PremierPro.
