Accounting (part time) Rieke Office Interiors, a leading and award-winning Chicagoland design and furniture company located in Elgin (at I-90 and Randall Road), seeks organized and detailed part-time accountant to join its team and support the Company's growth! This position will assist and backup Accounting Manager and be responsible for day-to-day accounting functions. Must have a minimum of 3 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience performing the functions below. Supportive team environment, located in Elgin, IL. Competitive benefits. Flexible hours RESPONSIBILITIES Performing day-to-day accounting functions including: G/L account reconciliations Calculating accruals and prepaid balances Working with various excel spreadsheets Credit card review, reconciliation, and expense coding Inventory calculations Review and expense coding of employee expense reports Calculating sales commissions SKILLS Previous experience in accounting Fundamental knowledge of GAAP Experience with current computer accounting programs and reporting tools (Accounting software, Excel, Word) Attention to detail Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Strong time management skills Self-motivated Team player REQUIRED BEHAVIORS Respectful Reliable Positive can-do attitude Conscientious Trustworthy Responsible The demands of successful completion in this job are detailed here, but this is not an all-inclusive task list.
