What the Role Entails Are you driven to help business owners reach their financial goals? Do you have a strong background in business and the ability to make sound lending decisions? If so, you could be a great fit for our VP Business Lending position. The VP Business Lending will proactively solicit new business and market Town & Country Credit Union's products including identifying, developing and maintaining quality business relationships that serve as referrals for new business lending opportunities in order to meet loan quality and production goals. At Town & Country, we believe in helping our members. The VP Business Lending will interview loan applicants, gather financial and credit data and educate the membership on our products. They will closely work with the credit analysis team to ensure high quality loan decisions. Because TCCU's decision making is local, the VP Business Lending will approve credits within their lending authority and work directly with the internal Credit Committee as needed, which allows for rapid decision making and ensures loans close in a timely fashion . In addition to active loans, the VP Business Lending will assist the SVP, Business Lending in analyzing the credit union's lending performance annually. They will also participate in business related development opportunities, community efforts and professional organizations regularly. The ideal candidate for this position will have a bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, management or equivalent experience and five years of business related experience. They'll need a thorough understanding of market risks, macro/micro economic conditions as they apply to lending, lending policies and procedures, and excellent communication and decision making skills.
