JOB SUMMARY: This position is responsible for producing products and components by assembling parts. This role prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, job card specifications, and will operate industrial production and processing machinery in a safe, clean, and efficient manner. This position works under direct supervision. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Assembles parts according to work instruction, verbal instruction, and job cards to produce product in amounts needed. Identifies and removes defective parts and/or products. Uses measuring devices for quality assurance. Executes assembly sequence duties consistently meeting productivity and quality expectations. Loads materials and products into package processing equipment; weighs materials to ensure compliance with specifications. Obtains, moves, sorts and labels materials and containers. Ensures correct packing and labelling of product. Maintains work area in a clean and orderly manner. Performs other work as required by supervisor. SKILLS & ABILITIES: Ability to read, understand, and navigate through assembly process documents Understanding of basic math skills adding, subtracting and measuring Ability to safely utilize assembly tools as appropriate for the successful completion of production tasks Ability to communicate and follow instructions effectively both verbally and in written format Ability to use judgement related to identifying potential safety hazards Ability to multi-task EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER - MINORITIES / WOMEN / VETERANS / DISABLED Job Posted by ApplicantPro
