Arcadia University seeks applications from individuals living in the greater Philadelphia area for part-time Guest Lecture, per diem positions. Applications are managed as part of a pool of candidates which may be reviewed, based on department need and semester. The number of adjunct instructors hired varies from semester to semester, depending upon the needs of the department. While there may not be immediate openings in your area of interest, when there is an opening with which your qualifications match the adjunct hiring manager reviews applications submitted to discipline-specific pools. We seek Guest Lecturers for both campuses: Glenside, PA and Christiana, DE. Responsibilities : Job responsibilities include teaching discipline-specific lectures or laboratories, responding to student inquiries, using Canvas to post lectures and grades and abiding by all relevant university and/or departmental procedures and policies. Qualifications Master's degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience required with a terminal degree preferred. Higher education teaching experience preferred as well. Course credits vary but normally between 3-4 credits a class. Lab courses are 2 credits each.
