Manufacturing/Industrial Engineer - Revit Integrator Waterloo, Iowa - PART TIME Productive Resources ( www.productiveresources.com ) is seeking a candidate to be part of our engineering team at our customer's facility in Waterloo, Iowa. Productive Resources provides manufacturing engineering services to our customers in a variety of facilities focusing specifically on factory layout development. Overall, this person will be responsible for learning about the Layout Services team and the types of layouts made, then training the team in how to use Revit to perform the same service. This person will be a part of an overall team and yet work independently, be flexible with their work schedule, and have excellent time management to balance priorities to deadlines. Revit training can be done remotely with some onsite work (amount of onsite work TBD). The project is considered part-time with a 20-hour workweek. Once completed there is the potential to be a part of the team full-time. This is a part-time position that is indefinite in duration with the opportunity of professional growth, and additional opportunities within our organization. Duties: Learn about the various "tools" used in Layout Services and their processes. Use 3D modeling Revit software. Knowing AutoCAD program is a bonus. Learn how distinct functions of AutoCAD can be done in Revit. Organize a training plan then train nine team members how to use Revit. Below is a list of some training topics (not exhaustive). Project development Creating Families of objects Creating Construction drawings complete with schedules and views. Manage change/revisions. Import/Export files with Revit Using point clouds for object creation Requirements: 2-3+ years' experience using Revit on the topics listed above. AutoCAD experience a plus Proven teaching record Manufacturing Engineering background a plus Flexible: work schedule being sensitive to the team's availability Proficient in Microsoft Office programs - Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams Proven project leadership Excellent time management skills Highly self-motivated Detail oriented Excellent communicator - Written and verbal. Able to communicate with a variety of audiences. Able to lead meetings facilitating discussions and delivering presentations. As a condition of employment consideration, Productive Resources conducts pre-employment screening, including a background check and drug test.
