Our current opening is for Yard Operations. Position Overview Segregate, move, cut, and process various metals Benefits Paid time off Paid holidays Medical, dental and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Profit sharing plan Set (day shift) schedule Growth opportunities and promotions from within Challenging and rewarding work environment Essential Duties & Responsibilities Use equipment such as excavator, mobile shear, and flipscreen to lift, cut, process, screen, and sort material efficiently Facilitate a safe work environment as demonstrated by daily work practices Work quickly and efficiently to meet department and company goals while adhering to all company and safety policies Facilitate internal communication with Yard Supervisor and coworkers as necessary Work in various environmental conditions such as extreme heat or cold, dusty, dirty, and/or wet conditions; equipment is enclosed with working heat and AC Education & Experience Experience operating heavy equipment required Physical Demands Walk/move on flat surfaces, equipment, and rugged outdoor terrain Climb ladders and stairs Lift up to 75 pounds Stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl to get to low lying and underneath equipment and machines Use fine motor grasping skills and hand-eye coordination to manipulate tools and may use repetitive motions of the fingers, hand, and wrist Perform tasks that require both close vision and distance vision proficiency Work in outdoor weather conditions Wear all Personal Protective Equipment required to perform the task in a safe and effective manner Our Mission & Vision We are recognized as an industry leader and are a highly regarded scrap metal recycling and management company by both our scrap suppliers and consumers.
