Job description Job Description: LPC/LCSW The Licensed Outpatient Clinical Therapist is responsible to provide evaluation, treatment planning, referral, care management and individual/group therapy in our Outpatient Psychotherapy department. This position also ensures completion of required clinical documentation related to individual caseloads in a timely manner.Provide direct clinical psychotherapy services to both adult and child consumers. Clinical psychotherapy services include individual, group, couples, marital, family, safety plans and collateral psychotherapy utilizing commonly accepted theories and techniques.Complete appropriate documentation relevant to indirect case management services. Maintain case notes, case files, treatment plans, case reviews, case revisions, authorization and relevant paperwork requirements to insure complete, ethical, uninterrupted clinical care for consumers and their families.Conduct appropriate consultation with the ACRP treatment team regarding clinical care and policies/procedures. Attend scheduled supervision with the immediate supervisor and openly communicate all issues which impact quality of clinical care. Conduct external consultation with other community providers, schools and agencies as indicated regarding clinical care.Attend departmental/staff meetings and other meetings relevant to maintaining sound clinical case management using emotional intelligence.Maintain appropriate professional continuing education requirements. Stay informed of current regulations, policies and procedures related to clinical and administrative practices. Maintain all documentation and fiscal standards, maintain complete files and clinical documentation, track authorizations and submit authorizations in a timely manner as needed. Comply with quality assurance guidelines. Maintain awareness of all Federal, State and Managed Care laws, policies, regulations and procedures regarding clinical care, Best Practices Guidelines, and appropriate fiscal requirements related to Clinical services utilizing social responsibility. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES · Demonstrate proficiency with assessment skills· Develop individualized treatment plans· Provide therapy to consumers in individually recommended setting· Provide treatment of the whole person· Evaluate individualized consumer-drive treatment plan reviews· Develop transition and discharge plans· Complete all required clinical documentation· Respond to emergency/crisis situations with team members and consumers· Maintain assigned, planned schedule· Maintain a commitment to professional development· Adhere to professional and ethical interaction policies and procedures· Support on-going and future business needs Position Requirements · A Master Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or a mental health related field from a regionally accredited college or university for mental health positions.· Act 33, 34, FBI clearances and Act 31 Certificate· At least 1 year of experience in providing clinical services to adults in a community setting preferred· Independent license as a Mental Health Practitioner in Pennsylvania (LPC or LSCW)· Solid organizational skills and time-management skills· Ability to think clearly during times of crisis and define safety plans with staff and/or consumers· Must demonstrate emotional intelligence when dealing with conflict between staff and/or consumers. Must be able to negotiate, navigate, and coordinate the multiple services involved in referrals and consumer cases· Licensed therapists credentialed with commercial insurances preferred Full-Time/Part-Time This is a full-time, case rate or possibly salaried position which includes specialized training, competitive salary, medical, dental and vision benefits, as well as, paid vacation and paid holidays.
