Now Hiring for open Manufacturing Positions-Assembly and Coil Winders.AQ Transformer Solutions Inc is now accepting applications for full-time Manufacturing Positions for both 1st and 2nd Shifts.Summary: Perform multiple manufacturing related duties for the completion of product assembly. Duties may include but are not limited to: preparing materials for product assembly, preparing materials for the construction of transformer platforms and cabinetry and maintaining a safe and clean work environment. Main Tasks : Determine the tools and equipment needed to do a job Lift raw materials, finished products, and packed items, manually or using hoists Operate machinery used in the production process Assist others as necessary Clean and lubricate equipment Observe equipment operations so that malfunctions can be detected Notify supervisor of any equipment malfunctions Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards Notify supervisor of any non-conformance to product design/quality standards Responsibility and Competencies: Customer Focus Act with a customer/supplier outlook. Demand the best quality of your internal suppliers and provide only the best quality to your customers whether internal or external. Teamwork Work effectively in a team environment, gaining consensus whenever possible. Time Management - Manage one's own time to meet deadlines and objectives. Critical Thinking Able to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems. Detail Oriented Able to recognize and not overlook the important details in work assignments. Engineering Drawings Able to understand and correctly interpret complex drawings and instructions Precision - Ability to perform precise material preparation and assembly tasks through manual/finger dexterity and arm/hand steadiness Professional Skills & Education: GED/HS Diploma Required Manufacturing experience Controls and Instrumentation, Equipment Maintenance, Manufacturing Experience, Manufacturing Quality, Mechanical Inspection Tools, Tooling, Safety Management, Quality Focus, Power Tools, Judgment, Decision Making Physical Requirements: Requires frequent sitting, standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching and or ladder use. Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. using safe lifting practices
