Front of House Lead Become part of the first team to open up Waikiki's soon-to-be most popular eatery! New restaurant and bar is opening soon below a new luxury apartment building. See job title and details below: JOB SUMMARY: The Front of House (FOH) Lead will be responsible to uphold all Standard Operating Procedures and Sequence of Service standards while providing and ensuring exceptional guest experiences. Assists in the day-to-day supervision of restaurant operations and assists employees. Strives to continually support guests, management team, and employee satisfaction. QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma, GED or equivalent Familiarity with restaurant management software/POS systems, like OpenTable or NCR Silver Pro. Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both oral and written Able to work independently and as a team Willingness to be open, to learn, and take on new responsibilities Regular, consistent and predictable attendance Able to lift at least 50 lbs SOFT SKILLS NEEDED(necessary personal attributes): Clear communication and listening skills Empathy, conflict resolution and a positive attitude Top-tier time management, multitasking, and situational awareness skills Overall vibe of friendliness, optimism, enthusiasm, and teamwork TECHNICAL SKILLS NEEDED: Basic math and arithmetic skills Phone communication and rapport building POS system knowledge Proper cash handling COMPENSATION: $17-$19+ per hour plus tips. Wage negotiable dependent on experience and/or overall personal characteristics. This is a full time position that includes benefits. INTERVIEW PROCESS: 2 interviews total: 1st interview will be via Video Call; 2nd interview will be in-person at Ala Moana. 3rd interview may be requested.
