SUMMARY: As an entry level role, this person would be r esponsible for assisting the IT Manager in the operational oversight and maintenance of the Company's I.T. Infrastructure, including, but not limited to, its networks, servers, electronic communication formats, data storage systems, phone systems, printers, etc., and in providing Tier 1 (and/or Tier 2 technical support if trained) and documentation of support resolutions for all Top Aces Corp. locations. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Ability to monitor standard I.T. processes and operations for issues. Ability to strategically address internal customer I.T. needs. Must be able to multi-task and handle multiple responsibilities. Ability to translate technical solutions to non-technical users. Promotes and embraces positive customer interactions, as well as personal, team, and company improvement. Adept at anticipating and adapting to changing job needs with exceptional results Assist in the maintenance of the Company's I.T. Infrastructure, including support systems, test computers, printers, and other peripherals. Troubleshoot communication equipment supporting both wired and wireless networks. Help maintain and document the network infrastructure, server infrastructure, and desktop/laptop computers at a level of functionality and security required by policies and procedures. Adheres to the procedures, guidelines, regulations, policies, directives, plans and instructions established for the IT Department and contained within all associated contracts. Assist with training on applications, as necessary. Utilize and train others at locations with limited vendor support. Following safe work practices and procedures and using safeguards and personal protective equipment, as necessary and when required. Reporting any hazards or potential safety risks (such as unsafe situations and activities) to a supervisor immediately. Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor. SKILLS AND/OR QUALIFICATIONS Knowledge of PC/Mac computing environments including operating systems, peripherals, & navigating through software Knowledge of the Internet, ISP and common browsers such as Internet Explorer, Chrome, Safari, and Firefox and a high-level understanding of Apple and Android-based mobile devices Demonstrates a technical aptitude by quickly assimilating technical concepts and new technology Proven experience utilizing strong troubleshooting techniques. Experience working in a team environment, including sharing feedback and knowledge with peers Knowledge and Ability to troubleshoot printer issues. Knowledgeable with Windows 10 and troubleshooting Microsoft 365 related problems. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Great communication skills. Detail oriented Ability to work in a helpdesk environment. Passion for service, positive attitude, enthusiasm, professionalism, and strong client focus Must be able to pass a background check CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS None Required EDUCATION AND/OR WORK EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree in Information Technology preferred Minimum of 3 years' relevant experience. Working Knowledge of Windows Active Directory and Remote Desktop Services ERP troubleshooting, Networking, and Linux experience a plus PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards. Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. SPECIAL WORK CONDITIONS Applicants selected may be subject to a Government security investigation and must meet the eligibility requirements to be cleared for and to gain access to applicable classified information. Domestic and International travel may be required.
