Set on 245 wooded acres in New Liberty, Iowa - just outside the Quad Cities and 60 minutes from Iowa City. Trying new things, and learning new skills is what camp is all about! Take a lead in this life-changing opportunity for yourself and campers. Girl Scouts of Eastern Iowa and Western Illinois are looking for an Aquatics Manager for our summer camp season at Camp Liberty in New Liberty, Iowa. This position will run from early June to early August. The Aquatics Manager is responsible for the planning and implementation of camp aquatics programs. This includes supervising aquatic staff and provide management to the physical operations of the aquatics facilities and equipment to ensure campers and staff are safe and follow safety regulations. Any interested applicants must be at least 21 years old, hold a valid drivers license and able to drive a 12 passenger van. Applicants should also have current certification from a nationally recognized provider in Standard First Aid, CPR and AED for the Professional Rescuer including training on blood borne pathogens.
