Position Summary: Provide engineering design for AMF Bakery System's products. This includes current standard machines/systems, custom products, legacy products and sales support. This position is responsible for hardware and software design for machine and/or control systems for assigned AMF projects. How you will impact AMF: Create drawings using computer aided AutoCAD Electrical design software to prepare detailed drawings, layouts and diagrams. Drawing details necessary for manufacture and assembly. Create parts in the MRP system Produce drawings and designs in accordance with company production and design standards. Documents design changes and ensure all relevant teams are notified and updated. Correct drawings due to manufacturing and customer. Communicate with vendors to obtain information and assistance. Collaborate with different departments (Manufacturing, Engineering, etc.) to provide support/feedback as required Participate in product inspections/checkouts What you need to succeed: Associate degree Engineering Technology preferred Minimum 3 years drafting experience required General drafting and fundamental design experience Ability to accurately draw and dimension detailed electrical systems and components Effective communication skills, both written and verbal Working knowledge of AutoCAD Electrical, Microsoft Office, Word and Excel. Working knowledge of MRP, BOM structure and costing Working knowledge of drafting techniques, engineering terminology, applicable materials and production processes
