We are looking for a driven, skilled, and proficient Medical Insurance Collections Specialist to join our Billing Department, and to provide the utmost support to the company and its employees. Key Responsibilities: The following is a representation of some of the main areas of focus for our Medical Insurance Collections Specialist. Essential Job Responsibilities: Auditing patient accounts Researching and following up on denied insurance claims Contacting patients regarding overdue balances Generating invoices on delinquent accounts Submitting patient accounts to collection Agency Company. Required Skills Excellent Numeracy and Literacy Skills A keen eye for detail and accuracy Health Insurance Knowledge Preferably 2 years. Strong Communication skills Ability to work well within a team Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook Incentives/Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision and Life/AD&D benefit options 401(k) Retirement Program with Company Match Vacation and Holiday Pay Sick Pay (in accordance with State and City law) Free Fit Societe gym membership. Discounts on massage therapy. Compensation: $20.00 - $25.00 Hourly
