The ideal Manager will have high energy, strong leadership and staff development skills, keen cost of goods/labor cost control knowledge and great interpersonal and organizational skills. Responsibilities and Duties Overseeing operations for a Wendy's restaurant, you will develop and mentor your team-and ensure a positive dining experience for your customers-by monitoring and reinforcing food safety procedures, maximizing store sales and profit goals, maintaining QSC standards and ensuring protection of Wendy's brand and assets. Job Requirements The ideal GM candidate will believe in our mission and make our guests a priority -Have experience and a passion for: Managing high volume restaurants, fast casual preferred but not necessary Overseeing store-level P & L and hitting budgets Hiring, training and growing teams Proven demonstration of strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skill People & Leadership Skills Do you know how to lead and motivate people? This one skill set is what separates good general managers from poor general managers and will be the key attribute we will focus on. Energy & Stamina - it's a team-based work environment and crew energy is important. Ability To Work At A Fast Pace Our kitchens have a lot going on and there's lots of on-the-line communication and job rotation. It's not for everybody. Good Communication and Effective Organizational Skills Love for Great Food We make some of the best burgers in the biz because we don't cut corners! Caring About Your Teammates Always working for the success of your team. Maintain professional appearance Demonstrates the ability to remain flexible in a fast-paced environment. Computer knowledge and skill level for basic office functions. Physical ability to stand for extended periods and to move and handle boxes (35lbs) as necessary to operation, which entails lifting, and perform all functions as set forth above. Ability to work varied hours/days, including nights, weekends and holidays, as needed. Qualifications and Skills Minimum of 2 years as a General Manager in a fast paced restaurant environment. Strong skills in customer satisfaction, performance management, financial analysis and clear communication. Proven track record of proper selection and development of personnel. Passionate about delivering high quality food in a clean, safe and professional environment. Desire to grow professionally to higher volume assignments and/or promotion to multi-unit manager ServSafe Certified a plus.
