Job Description Homewatch CareGives of St Pete Beach provides in home non-skilled health care. The Scheduling Coordinator is responsible for maintaining the client and caregiver relationships and ultimately helps provide a high-quality experience for clients and caregivers. The scheduler performs the integral role in interfacing with caregiver staff in ensuring the proper caregiver and client match. Performs various supervisory activities related to scheduling both caregivers to clients, timecard processing, and other responsibilities as needed. Maintains a positive demeanor at all times and is able to effectively multitask in a high functioning office environment. The Scheduler must also be available as required for on-call duty outside of normal office hours. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Schedules the daily activities of caregivers, answers telephone, takes inquiries or messages in an upbeat, professional manner. Handles client and caregiver issues both inside outside of normal business hours Communicates continually with associates and clients to evaluate service. Serves as a team player within an office environment. Maintains documentation of associate work record in AlayaCare. Responds promptly and courteously to all clients' calls. Serves as liaison between associates and Administrator . Maintains integrity in every interaction with caregivers and clients Maintains professionalism in all interactions Ability to multitask in a high functioning office environment Ability to problem solve and make decisions in a fast-paced environment Ability to relate to clients and care staff in a way that is sensitive to the unique needs of the individual. NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Other general office and clerical functions. Other duties assigned by Operations Manager EDUCATION / SKILLS / ABILITIES / AVAILABILITY High School graduate or equivalent. Level 2 Background Drivers License Basic office, computer skills, and organizational abilities. Excellent interpersonal relations abilities. Excellent telephone skills. Knowledge of common medical terminology. Able to work independently, demonstrating sound judgment. Read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job. Be available as required for on-call duty outside of normal office hours . Job Type: Full-time Salary: based on experience up to $18 and hr Experience: Scheduling: 1 year minimum in healthcare scheduling preferred AlayaCare experience a plus
