Promotes and follows LJBTC, Inc.'s Signature Service standards and requirements ensuring a lasting impression of exemplary service resulting in supremely satisfied and loyal members and guests. Schedule: PT days off vary. 2pm-11:pm Pay: $16.30 ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : Takes food and beverage orders and enters them into Micros POS. Collects order from Bartender, adds appropriate garnish, places on tray, and serves to patrons with cocktail napkins. Follows all policies for the responsible service of alcohol. Computes bill and accepts payment. Takes orders for and serves light meals and hors d'oeuvres. Requests identification from customers when legal age is questionable. Removes empty or dirty glasses and bottles and returns them to the bar or kitchen. Other duties may be assigned. OUTCOME Proper performance of this job ensures exceptional services to all customers of the bar and lounge. It is essential in helping create a positive guest experience for all customers. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE High School diploma or general education degree (GED); or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively in English to customers, members, visitors, guests, managers, or employees of organization. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. REASONING ABILITY Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Must have and maintain a current Food Handlers Card and RBS license.
