Description:

DirectViz Solutions, (DVS) is a rapidly growing government contractor that provides strategic services that meet mission IT needs for government customers. DVS is sourcing for a Senior Software Engineer for a new opportunity. This position is based in San Diego, CA and requires an active Secret clearance. Requirements: - 8 years of software engineering/development in integrating web-based Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) for data driven systems, database management and query creation for SQL based languages, client server programming, agile development environments, hosting web applications, and various integrated development environments. - 8 years of experience in computer languages: Python, JavaScript, XML/HTML, and CSS. - 2 years of experience with cloud automation scripting (Lambda, etc.) and experience developing tools that interact with cloud architectures. - Experience in applying analytical skills to support process improvement, studies, and analysis projects. - Experience translating operational needs into long-term architecture solutions - Experience performing SCRUM Master duties - Experience leading development teams Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in STEM or an IT related field. Security clearance: Active Secret clearance is required. Applicants may be required to show proof of a COVID-19 Vaccination Record Card to be eligible for employment at some work sites.
