ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: Responsibilities include scanning; data entry and retrieval; and routine clerical duties Monitor completion of medical records in accordance with time standards. Audit incomplete records and prepare reports on delinquencies. Assist in identification of medical records needed for research. Prepare input for computerized medical information systems and for processing, insurance, and other forms and documents. Participate in Quality Improvement activities. Complete required annual and monthly on-line courses. Participate in traditional and e-learning programs. Perform other duties or special projects when necessary. Support the HME Specialists' Mission Statement, vision and values. Adheres to HME Specialists culture and behavior standards.
