Job Description Privately held company is seeking an Sr. Accountant to join their accounting team. DUTIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Prepares, enters and posts all financial journal entries daily/monthly. Allocates accrued and prepaid expenses to related locations. Analyzes general ledger accounts and their Issue timely and complete financial statements with strict dead-lines. Prepare and file multiple state sales and use tax, property tax returns. Manage daily and monthly bank reconciliation. Manage 401k portfolio, biweekly remittance and annual filing with DOL. Prepare cash flow statement weekly. Assists in preparing budgets and forecasts. Able to generate, manipulate and run ad hoc reports. Work with external auditors. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Job Requirements EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting (Required) Master's Degree in Accounting or CPA (Preferred) EXPERIENCE: 5+ years accounting experience. 3+ years ERP software experience. Must have thorough knowledge of general accounting plus the application of general accounting theory. Proficiency with MS Office Suite and Excel. Strong communication skills. Ability to protect confidential information. Must manage time effectively, organized and work to deadlines. Work accuracy and detail orientation is required.
