Moore's Electrical & Mechanical Construction Company was established in 1985 and is a growing MEP contractor concentrating on commercial and industrial system installs and service for customers in Virginia and North Carolina. Moore's is looking to add Commercial Plumbers to our team. Ideal candidates should have experience in new plumbing systems installation in commercial or industrial settings. Candidates should be willing to work closely with job site foreman to ensure installations are performed effectively and efficiently according to drawings and direction of the foreman, while assisting in mentoring and developing helpers and apprentices designated to their team. Essential Skills : Ability to sweat copper and install pro-press materials Ability to set fixtures Underground plumbing system installs a plus Ability to read and interpret construction drawings Work as a trainer and mentor for helpers and apprentices Must be dependable and willing to complete a project from start to finish Must have a valid driver's license and dependable transportation Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Preferred Skills : Ability to operate equipment on site as needed Moore's offers industry leading benefits including: Health, dental, and vision insurance with a Health Savings Account option Short and Long Term Disability Insurance Life Insurance Industry leading PTO policy including a safety incentive to earn more PTO 401K Retirement Plan Moore's is 100% employee owned.
