Angels Camps Operations Assistant Angels Camps is looking for an Operations Assistant to help us with day to day camp operations this summer at Angels Camp locations throughout Orange County. This is a seasonal position that begins no later than July 10th and ends August 14th, 2023. More details about Angels Camps: Angels Baseball & Softball Camps operate camps around Orange County to boys and girls ages 4-13. Angels Baseball & Softball Camps enrich the lives of children through exceptional instruction, character development, and a unique major league experience that creates lasting memories. Angels Baseball & Softball Camps features five action-packed days of individualized instruction, marquee competitions, and special events. Each day of Angels Camp features a personal character theme, teaching campers lessons on the diamond that they can utilize off the field to become more outstanding young men and women. Responsibilities: Collaborate on the execution of events, uniform packaging and distribution, and camp programming and giveaways Fill/refill water coolers and place them on the fields. Prepare equipment for early care and after care. Prepare supplies and ice packs for site EMT. Set up and break down car lines (Place signicades, road cones, and stop/slow signs in appropriate locations). Serve as a key apprentice to our leadership and warehouse management team Master the quality assurance and receiving of all vendor items such as sports uniforms, giveaways, equipment, and supplies. Keep a close eye on inventory and budget with rigorous attention to detail Assist in the production of team events that foster a sense of community, collaboration, and growth with our seasonal and full-time employees Qualifications: Be available to start this internship no later than July 10, 2023 and available to work through August 18, 2023. Be available to work 30 hours or more per week between 7:00AM-3:00PM (Monday through Friday) and some weekends. Be able to work in outdoor conditions during summer months, and lift, carry and transport up to 50 pounds Benefits: This is a paid internship $18/hour and includes compensation for certain travel-related expenses. Eligible for free tickets to select Angels home games
