Looking for an exciting and rewarding career in commercial construction? We are looking to hire Concrete Finishers to join our trades division in our Knoxville region. We are open to candidates without a High School Diploma/GED. Here at Christman, we offer performance-based raises, vacation, and have an excellent benefits package. Essential Functions place and finish concrete grind, patch, rub walls and slabs saw cut new slabs installation and removal of formwork Work Environment The work is completed outside at the construction site. The position is often exposed to sounds and loud noises, such as construction equipment. The job requires wearing protective equipment when on the construction site (hardhats and safety vests and glasses). Temperatures and conditions may vary depending on the weather and seasons. Expected Hours of Work Full time; occasional 40+ hour workweeks. May work evening and weekends. Construction may sometimes continue around the clock to meet deadlines. Travel Must have reliable transportation and willing to travel 60 miles a day dependent on project location relative to where the employee lives. Required Education and Experience Minimum two (2) years experience in concrete construction Preferred Education and Experience High School Diploma or GED OSHA 10 HR certification is preferred but not required The Christman family of companies is an equal opportunity employer and values diversity.
