Description:
General responsibilities include compiling, processing and maintaining accounts payable and accounts receivable records, along with general administrative duties in cooperation with sales and production aspects of manufacturing business. Key Tasks and Responsibilities: Reconciling, coding, and vouching accounts payable. Process payables checks. Process and manage accounts receivable, including placing billing and collection calls. Prepare aging report. Maintain cash receipts journal, cash activity sheet, and bank deposits. Reconcile credit card statements and receipts. Update and maintain vendor and customer accounts database. Audits and verifies expense reports Prepares bank deposits and processes credit card transactions Process customer invoices and credit memos for sales activity. Produce shipping documents for international sales orders. Process and close shop orders in correspondence to sales orders Track, create and report daily/weekly/monthly sales. Handle incoming customer correspondence, including mail, faxes and emails. Perform various administrative duties, as assigned by supervisor, including processing outgoing/incoming mail, scanning to document management system, filing sales orders and customer account information, answer phone system, etc. Job Requirements/Qualifications: Experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable with analytical ability Proficiency in MS Office and keyboarding Prior customer service and clerical experience Ability to process data accurately and efficiently Ability to follow instructions Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are required.
