The T&D Operations Supervisor is responsible for providing leadership, motivation and support to ensure the team works safely to meet customer service, quality and production goals and works seamlessly during service restoration. The position coordinates scheduling, training, production and efficiency of T&D by coordinating workflow throughout the districts. This role requires a passion for safety, customer service, leading and developing employees, and an understanding of utility operations. The T & D Supervisor effectively coaches team members to be focused on safety while providing excellent customer service and holding them accountable for all aspects of their work. This position is a key role for T&D in running many concurrent projects and delivering value to GMP operations and it's customers, and is a critical position for District Emergency Restoration activities. The ability to think practically and strategically in order to maximize new technology, seize GMP's innovative culture and ensure continuous improvement and high customer satisfaction is essential. The successful candidate will have outstanding communication and listening skills along with the ability to coach and inspire team members to the highest level of job performance. Identifying and seizing opportunities for innovation, embracing uncertainty and risk and leveraging relationships across the organization are additional keys to success in this position as GMP continues its rapid evolution into a customer-focused energy company. Through vision and leadership, this role continuously creates opportunities for success and motivates teams to accomplish amazing amounts of important work safely with full accountability for results.
