Asgard Resources is a rapidly growing sand processing company located in rural North Dakota looking for the right person to add to our team. Asgard is a leading provider of frac sand in North Dakota and has been operating since 2019.This job will also include operating heavy equipment at times. Successful applicants will be trained on the specific equipment utilized at the facility.The Dry Plant Supervisor is responsible for the overall maintenance and operations the dry plant, as well as training employees. Must have previous dry plant experience. Will be working closely with shift supervisor and site manager about training, planning, and production.Using equipment to clean spills and or piles and disposing of properly; using shovels in areas equipment cannot operate. The Dry Plant supervisor will report to the Shift Supervisor and work closely with the Dry Plant Operator for all tasks for their shift in order to maintain compliance with MSHA regulations. The successful candidate will be a self-starter who enjoys the challenges of dry plant operations with the operations team. Essential Duties: Identify needs and equipment status in pre-shift inspections and verifying inspections are being completed. Collaborate with dry plant operator and shift supervisors on the type of work needed and the best methods for work to be performed; evaluate and review necessary procedures, materials, labor and resource material needed, as well as maintaining equipment per MSHA standards. Train dry plant operators Assist with sourcing parts and tracking parts inventory on hand for critical items Work with Maintenance for general maintenance and repairs on dry plant equipment Assist in other areas of the plant when needed Participate in safety meetings and trainings Other duties as assigned Required Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Six (6) months prior experience in sand operations or relatable operations is required; one (1) year prior experience with sand plant production related is preferred Exceptional communication, both written and oral, and interpersonal abilities; organization and attention to detail Demonstrated ability to use mobile equipment like skid steers, manlifts, and loaders Ability to work both tactically and strategically Ability to read, write and speak English Ability to perform simple math calculation Ability to lift 50 lbs, shovel, and climb ladders/stairs Ability to work days or nights, 8-12 hr. shifts and OT may be required Ability to work independently or with a partner Ability to work outside in various degrees of weather Driver's License preferred Job Posted by ApplicantPro
