In turn, Triumph Foods members own 50 percent of Daily's Premium Meats, a specialty pork processor of bacon and other premium pork products. Triumph Foods also holds a 50 percent partnership in Seaboard Triumph Foods, LLC of Sioux City, Iowa, a primary pork processing plant. Position Overview & Responsibilities: The Director of Asset Planning and Management serves as a key member of the CF Management Team. This position is responsible for planning, execution and financial accountability of the company's repair, maintenance and construction programs designed to meet the short-term and long-term strategic objectives of the company. Success in the position will require an extremely high level of planning, coordination and communication with internal and external business partners across six states. Responsible for managing a multi-million dollar spend annually. Major Areas of Accountability: ❖ Effectively partners with operational leaders to accomplish overall company strategic objectives relative to pig production, facility needs, space planning, site quality and regulatory considerations.❖ Develop and implement a long term asset management plan that insures longevity and functionality of company owned assets.❖ Participate in capital spending strategy with key organizational leaders by providing cost estimates, preparing budgets and managing projects within budget.❖ Provide information on new technologies leading to improved performance and/or cost savings opportunities.❖ Develop and implement a site care and appearance program that sets the standard for the industry.❖ Maintain all aspects of contractual relationships in conjunction with legal team. Ensures contracts are set up according to standard business expectations and controls.❖ Handle contractual disputes in a professional and timely manner.❖ Develop effective relationships with business partners and associated stakeholders. (i.e. production operations leaders, accounting, supply chain, human resources, senior management and finance).❖ Promote and lead highly effective communication within the maintenance department throughout all levels in the organization.❖ Develop effective working relationships with vendors and contractors across six states.❖ Develop a professional and effective team and provide resources to help monitor and assess the quality and quantity of work being achieved.❖ Provide high level of customer service and professionalism standards within and outside the maintenance team.❖ Provide updates to senior management on work priorities, progress and maintenance and repair programs.❖ Develop and lead Christensen Farms repair and maintenance group to ensure high performance of completing deliverables.❖ Participate in the annual budgeting process.❖ Ability to advise Senior Management on industry trends, issues and potential opportunities. Management Scope and Level of Responsibility: Supervision of Others: ❖ Direct: 6 direct reports ❖ Indirect: Roughly 75 indirect reports Reports to: ❖ Vice President of Operations Education, Training, and Experience Requirements: ❖ 8-12+ years of progressive asset management experience.❖ Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Facility Maintenance, Business or similar degree required.❖ Excellent communication skills, verbal and written. Able to communicate proposals to various levels of the organization.❖ Understanding of integrated animal production business strongly preferred.❖ Thorough understanding of capital expenditure analysis and construction and repair project management.❖ Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management and external agencies to maximize performance, problem solving and results.❖ Highly detail-oriented and organized in work; demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness while looking for ways to improve and promote quality.❖ Ability to develop employees by assessing strengths and development needs.❖ Foster teamwork and encouraging collaboration between department and functional teams.❖ Leadership presence in interactions with senior management Job Posted by ApplicantPro
