Representative will use A/R Reports to flow up and identify all self-pay patient accounts are in the appropriate guarantor format and statement cycles. Representative will assure every effort has been made to get the accounts paid in full and may work under sometimes-stressful circumstances. By doing this they will be responsible to make personal phone calls, follow the facilities established collection letter process and work with patient on the financial options such as Medicaid, loan repayment or charity care.The private pay accounts will be worked on a daily basis and followed u on in a timely manner. If there are patients who do not qualify for financial assistance and who have refused to work with the representative on their outstanding account balances, then the representative will send accounts out to the Collection Agency according to collection guidelines.This position will help with receptionist duties, other reimbursement and administrative duties of managing patient financial accounts as well as all other duties asked of them by their supervisor or the CEO. It is the employee's responsibility to abide by all HIPPA & Compliance Rules and Regulations.Responsibilities:This position interacts with other business office staff, facility departments, Collection Agency, Independence bank as well as Billings Clinic Staff. This position will be responsible for reviewing the daily insurance posted for accuracy in the self-pay patient balances as well as review the credit balance encounters t identify if monies can be moved within the guarantor accounts or if a patient refunds is necessary. Will be responsible for managing the monthly statements that are produced from Apex.Qualifications:High school diploma recommended not requiredCollections Experience preferred, Customer Service, Multi-tasking, Flexibility, telephone skills, Time management, Organization, Attention to detail, Computer experience, Professionalism, quality focus Job Posted by ApplicantPro
