Finance DirectorThe Disabilities Board of Charleston County, a political subdivision formed under County ordinance supporting people with disabilities in Charleston SC with annual revenue of over $26 million, has an immediate opening for a Finance Director. The successful candidate will supervise all functions of the finance department including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, management of a fund raising foundation and will be responsible for verifying accuracy of all financial activities. Additional responsibilities include supervising a full time staff and being part of the senior management team answering to the executive director. The candidate should have a four year accounting/finance degree and at least three years’ experience in accounting and at least one year experience in managing/supervising employees. The candidate must be proficient with Microsoft Office applications particularly Excel. Knowledge of Jet Reports, Kronos and Serenic software preferred but not required.
